Alma, Mich. - Dakota Pelach (Gaylord, Mich./Gaylord) has been named to the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association All-Conference Second Team as announced by the conference on Friday (Nov. 4) evening. It is the second consecutive year she has been named Second-Team All-Conference.
Pelach finished the season tied for third in all of Division III in triple-doubles with six. She played the fewest sets of all top four finishers in the category. In addition, Pelach led the Scots in all major offensive categories, including kills (215), points (253.5), points per set (2.6) and total attacks (677) and tied for the team lead in assists (434) and assists per set (4.38) with Maressa Miller (Grand Blanc, Mich./Grand Blanc). Pelach was also third on the team in digs (273). Her kill total of 215 was a career high. Last season, Pelach ranked fifth in the nation in triple-doubles with four en route to being named Second-Team All-MIAA.
