Alma, Mich. - The Alma College women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Kalamazoo on Saturday (April 6). The loss is Alma's second straight after reeling off eight consecutive wins.
How It Happened
- Caroline Ross (Sandusky, Mich. / Sandusky) earned three wins against Helen Pelak but ultimately fell 6-1, 6-2.
- Brooke Butterfield (Portland, Mich. / Portland) fell to Laura Hanselman 6-1, 6-1.
- Butterfield and Abigail Davenport (Downers Grove, Ill. / Downers Grove South) paired up for three wins against the team of Pelak and Caroline Norton but lost 8-3.
