Kalamazoo, Mich. - The Alma College women's soccer team secured its fourth straight win and has moved up to third in the MIAA after defeating Kalamazoo College 1-0 on Saturday (Oct. 26). The Scots are now 10-4-1 overall and 5-2 in the conference with one game remaining; Alma can leapfrog the second-place Hornets with a win over Hope in the final game of the regular season.

Off a throw-in, Stephan crossed it into the box and Messick tipped it past the goalie and one defender.

The Hornets were aggressive on the offensive end leading in shots 16-10, but the Scots led in shots on goal 6-5. Stephan led the Scots with five total shots and two shots on goal. Defensively, the game was clean with Alma leading in fouls 6-3, but the Kalamazoo bench was given a yellow card in the 39th minute.
