What Happened

It was a quick start for both teams. Samantha Torres opened up the scoring just over five minutes into the match. The Scots had a quick response though. Pfile, who scored her first career goal last game, scored just 19 seconds after the Torres goal to tie it up at one.

Essen found the back of the net for her first goal of the game in 12thminute of the match. Essen then scored again in the second half. Currently she stands at 10 goals on the season, good for second in the conference.

The Scots were unable score the rest of the way. A constant rainstorm was going on all game and referees had to stop it early with just under six minutes remaining because the field was unplayable.
