Mangutz, Women's Lacrosse Team Recognized by IWLCA

Alma, Mich. - Both Stephanie Mangutz (Mio, Mich. / Mio-AuSable) and the Alma College women's lacrosse team have been recognized by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) for their efforts in the classroom.

Mangutz was named to the 2018 IWLCA Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll for earning a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. She graduated in April with a degree in sociology and is currently attending Wayne State University to obtain her master's degree in social work. Mangutz scored a career-high 12 goals as a senior and caused 34 turnovers in her three-year career, fifth all-time for the program.

The women's lacrosse team is one of six MIAA teams that appear on the 2017-18 IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Squads list. Teams must post at least a 3.0 GPA to qualify for the honor.
