Women's Bowling Places 18th in Hoosier Classic

Alma, Mich. - The Alma College bowling team placed 18th in the Columbia 300 Hoosier Classic over the weekend, posting a total of 8025.

Junior Emma Davis (Horton, Mich / Hanover Horton) led the team with a 187.5 average over six rounds in the Columbia 300 Hoosier Classic in Indianapolis over the weekend (Feb. 16 & 17). Freshman Rachel Kuczajda and junior Josee Hale (Defiance, Ohio / Defiance Senior High) also averaged over 180 as the only three Scots to bowl in all six rounds. Freshman Kemmie Shunk had the best round of any Alma player, posting a 227 in round four.

Alma will return to action on Sunday (Feb. 24) at the American Heartland Championships in Canton, Michigan.
