Holland, Mich. - The Alma College men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 setback to Hope College on Monday (April 22). The Scots fall to 1-5 in the MIAA with the loss, while Hope improves to 6-1.

How It Happened

  • Brandon Ralston (Cadillac, Mich. / Cadillac) played in the tightest match of the day, falling 6-3, 6-1 to Tim Roe in the first singles match.
  • Tait Morrissey (Canadian Lakes, Mich. / Big Rapids) played a close match with Justin Folkert but dropped it 6-2, 6-1 in the end.
  • Brendan Murdie (Novi, Mich. / Walled Lake Western) took three games from Christian Rhoades in the second set after being swept in the first.
