Alma, Mich. - Junior Noah Canlas (Naperville, Ill. / Naperville Central) of the Alma College men's soccer team has been named an All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Second-Team member, as announced by the conference on Tuesday.
Canlas, an offensive midfielder, finished second on the team in points (nine) and goals (four). He was also second in game-winning goals this season (two). He was one of four midfielders chosen to the Second-Team.
This is the second time Canlas has been named to the Second-Team; he did so as a freshman after posting a team-high five goals and 11 points.
The Scots made it to the MIAA postseason but were bounced by Trine after the Thunder converted a penalty kick in the final few minutes. Canlas missed the final two games of the season due to injury.
