Adam Nycz was named the interim men's lacrosse coach for Alma College in May 2019. He was originally hired as an assistant coach in January 2015.

Nycz played collegiate lacrosse at Virginia Wesleyan College and was a three-time All-Conference selection in 2010, 2011 and 2012. He was an All-American in 2012 and earned Academic All-Conference accolades in 2012. In addition, he was the Most Valuable Player of the USILA North/South game in 2012.

Nycz has also served as a coaching aide at Gateway-Longview-Williamsville, N.Y. and performed behavioral management training for youths.

Nycz was the lacrosse Junior Varsity Assistant Coach at Iroquois High School in Elma, N.Y. in the spring of 2013 and was responsible for coordinating the offense. His tutelage helped the team to a 12-2-1 record.

He also served as a camp instructor for the Iroquois Lacrosse Camp from 2012-2014. He created practice plans built to help develop young players and motivated and assisted players in achieving their goals.

In addition, Nycz's volunteer work includes serving as Head Coach for club and travel teams for EMW Lacrosse-Elma, N.Y. during the summers of 2010-2014.
