Freeland, Mich. - Junior guard Ryan Stevens (Lowell, Mich. / Lowell) has been named to the All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Second-Team, as announced by the conference on Tuesday (Feb. 19).
Stevens finished the regular season third on the team in scoring with 11.9 points per game, second in the conference in assists per game with 6.2. He is shooting 45-percent from the field and 37-percent from three as a junior.
Stevens registered three double-doubles this year, reaching 10 assists each time. He scored in double-figures in 13 consecutive games this year and set a new career-high with 25 points against Hope on Jan. 16. Stevens has 154 assists this season, tying his own record for second-place in a single season in program history. With three more assists, he will pass Scott Nikodemski (2013-16) for most assists in a season. He also has 400 career assists, the third-most in program history and just one behind Dan Stolz (1975-79) for second place.
