Huff Named MIAA Position Player of the Week

Alma, Mich. - Senior Logan Huff (Johannesburg, Mich. / Johannesburg-Lewiston) has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association position player of the week as announced by the league office Monday (Mar. 2).

The Scots' third baseman led the team to four wins at the RussMatt Tournament in Florida. He dominated at the plate with a .370 batting average, four home runs, and 13 RBIs. He started the tournament with a home run and five RBIs in the first game. In Alma's doubleheader against Union College (NY), Huff went 5-for-7 with two home runs and five RBIs.

On the season, Huff is among the nation's best at the plate. He is leading the nation in home runs and is second in RBIs with six and 20, respectively. Huff has the same amount of home runs this year as he has had in the other three years combined.
