Klenk Park

Klenk Park, home of the Alma College Scots baseball team, is located just northwest of campus off of Charles Road. A group of alumni led by Bruce Gerish '81 came up with a plan to name the facility in honor of retired baseball coach and athletic administrator, Bill Klenk '59, for his many years of service to Alma College, Scots Athletics, and in particular, Scots baseball.

Klenk Park also includes a room named for chemistry professor emeritus and former baseball coach, Charlie Skinner '39. The Skinner Room is a gathering place and contains a history of Alma Scots baseball. The Skinner Room was dedicated in the spring of 2004, and is utilized for team functions, media usage, and the hospitality of recruits, scouts, alumni and parents.

Klenk Park was dedicated on May 13, 2000. Many dignitaries, including Jim Northrup, Bruce Gerish, Jim Greenless, Alan Stone, Bill Klenk, and many former players were in attendance. That evening, Klenk Park hosted a dinner which included a history of Alma College baseball, involving a presentation of old pictures dating back to the 1800s.

Klenk Park is located at 6565 N. Smith Rd. Alma, MI 48801.
